Did you wake up excited? Did you enjoy talking to your co-workers and regulars? Did you make time for friends and family? Did you exercise?
It’s the Monday after Thanksgiving and everyone is hard at work. If you were fortunate enough to take time off, chances are you celebrated with family or dear friends. I don’t know about you, but my body is still digesting pumpkin pie.
Periodically, over the course of the long weekend, I found myself indulging and not giving thanks. So before I got tangled up in another busy week, I wanted to give proper thanks. I sat, took full, calm breaths, straightened up, closed my eyes, and recalled as many beautiful moments as I could.
If you answered “no” to any of those questions, let your thankfulness be motivation and help those who have little.
